PRESS RELEASE: DAVID MAY JOINS AESARA PARTNERS IN THE UK

Aesara Partners establishes new Scottish presence with appointment of former Royal Bank of Scotland leader, David May, to team of executive coaches.



Aesara Partners is delighted to announce that David May has been appointed to their UK team, further establishing Aesara’s presence in Scotland. Head quartered in London, Aesara Partners has offices in Edinburgh, Paris, Lyon, Singapore, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Boston and New York.


David’s 38-year career in financial services spans executive leadership of strategic and operational teams across multiple markets, as well as trustee and board memberships. Between 2014 and 2019, David, as Director of Learning and Development, worked with RBS’s executive teams and was closely involved in its turnaround. Under his leadership, the RBS Learning and Development team won many accolades including The Princess Royal Training Award 2017-2019.


David established and then was the head of the RBS Business School, innovating in the development of leadership programmes and forging partnerships with many of the world’s leading Business Schools. Through this he has collaborated and co-delivered with leading international coaches, leading academics and subject experts, deepening his knowledge and expertise.


As a Fellow and Chair of the Chartered Banker Institute’s global Membership Forum, David leads on members’ interaction with the Institute’s Board on topics such as strategy, professionalism and membership benefits.


In 2019, David graduated with distinction from the Meyler Campbell business coaching programme, Mastered..
